I know that it is very scary to undergo something that you never had done before....I feel for you right now. First of all with the spot.....don't panic and don't get scared. The colonoscopy is to see what it is. I always try not to worry about things that I cannot control...I have never had a colonoscopy, but I have heard from mostly all that it was a piece of cake. Ask to be under sedation.....or if possible even completely knocked out....so when you wake up, it will be all over.
Don't over worry yourself......the doctors are just taking precautions and make sure that nothing is wrong. Better to be safe than sorry, right?
