No matter what I ate today whether it was cereal, a cheese sandwich or soup for supper I have had this burning tongue and also the insides of my cheeks. Nothing I ate was even spicy. Has anyone ever had this problem and knows what causes it? Thanx, Candee

Candee:
You may need vitamin B complex.
It may be from an over growth of yeast from eating too much of sugary foods.

Thanx for the advice on burning tongue. It was still burning today/tonight and I took som alka seltzer which seems to have helped it--go figure!! Thanx again, Candee

Yes, I do have a sore throat--usually on the left side along with my burning tongue and sometimes the inside of mt cheeks. Got a clue what it might be--it's been going on for about 4 days now! Thanx, Candee

Try taking B complex vitamins. They are not expensive, and deficiencies affect the tongue and mouth.
