Red face Red Burning Feeling Ear???? Help I am Scared!

For no reason at all sometimes the right tip of my ear gets really beet red and feels like it is burning.
It is only my right ear that does this. It comes on at anytime and goes away usually after 10 minutes or so. Can anyone tell me what causes this and if anyone else has this? It is really worrying me. My doctor says he has never heard of a condition that could cause a red burning ear. I am scared.
It is not affected by cold, anxiety etc...
I am very calm and sometimes just sitting watching tv or sometimes right when I get out of the shower it will do this.
Help

jenNbil:

My son gets that condition and it is harmless.
It happens to him when he is over-tired. It can happen anytime, depending on the individual. Don't worry about it.

I agree. I get it whenever. It's my left ear. I've
always had it. There's nothing to worry about.
