Question Moles

Hi!
When should I be concerned about a little freckle that turned more into a little mole? Should I get it checked out? Also, I have a white round bump on my face(very small, smaller than my pinky) should I also have this checked out as well? It appears to be getting bigger every time I look at it.(as well as the mole). What do you all think? nightowl2

I think that you should get this checked out, if you have not done already. I have had moles removed and they were fine - it can be treated if it is serious though.

I think you should have it checked out. If there's nothing wrong, you'll feel better knowing that everything is fine. If it is not fine, treatment is
simple. So, you'll win either way.

Yes, treatment is simple if you catch it on time. So don't delay. I just had a tiny mole, more like a freckle removed today because I'm not taking any chances. My dad has melanoma which was not caught in time because even his dermatologist thought it was only a cyst and did not remove it and biopsy it until it was too late. If caught early skin cancer is very treatable, but if not caught in time Melanoma is one of the most deadly forms of cancer there is. My dad is now going through grueling chemotheropy. Any change in a freckle or mole should be checked out immediately. Also, insist that they remove it and biopsy it, don't let them tell you it is okay. Better safe than sorry.
