Im going to an oral surgen on Mon to possibly get my wisdom teeth out. I'm scared to death about being "put under" w/anestesia. Im afraid that I might have a bad reaction to it. Both of my parents had their wisdom teeth out and they had no problem, but I'm still very nervous about the whole thing. Or what if the anesthesia doesn't work and I cannot fall asleep or wake up during the extraction! If anyone has any advice I could need it. Thanks

to his patient.

You have nothing to worry about with such a person .

Tell you what I will trade places with you tomorrow. I have a wisdom tooth that needs to come out but will not get knocked out when they do it. I would much rather have them knock me out than not. When they use anesthesia they have been specially trained to watch for problems as well as how much to administer etc. so there will be no real problems. Just be glad they use anesthesia for general wisdom tooth extraction. Lots of clinics don't use it for normal extractions.
