Post vaginal tear from childbirth problem after 15 months

I received a tear during birth 15 months ago. I am still experiencing re-tearing during sex and lubrication is not the answer. My doctor has extended all the help he knows to give and I am looking for an answer. If anyone is experiencing something similar, I am desperate to hear some advice. Thank you to anyone who can help.

I would assume your doc repaired the tear right away when it happened at childbirth. Since he is now clueless as to how to take care of this tear that is constantly reopening it is time to seek a second opinion or change docs. This tear seems to have not healed properly since it keeps reopening so see another doc and get this properly taken care of.

An epesiotomy should have been done at the time of birth, then you wouldn't be having a problem......

It sounds like you need it sorting out surgically. What they can do is cut and restitch it. You will also need checking if there is an infection first. You need to see a Gynae surgeon.
Good luck Chris
