Hi All,
I'm a newbie. I was diagnosed w/FMS about 3 yrs ago & have had the symptons for over 15 yrs. About 6yrs ago my fingers started peeling. Have been to Dermatoligist & nothing has helped. Is there anyone else with the peeling fingers. It almost looks like Kawasaki's disease, but from what I understand that only affects children..
I have had a patient at the nursing home with peeling fingers but for the life of me I can't remember what the dermatologist had prescribed for her that worked. I would head back to the dermatologist if you haven't seen them in a while or even consider a second opinion and see if they can't help you now. I would also recommend using a lotion with tea tree oil in or even using straight tea tree oil on your hands and I am sure this will help a lot if not totally take care of it.
My wife has had the same thing for a number of years and could find anything. but the last few months she has been using pure bee wax (i'll get the name of it real soon) and it seems to have help a lot.
Thanks for the information,
It's only been a few months since I saw the dermo, but will give the bees wax & tea tree oil a try.
I had even given so thought to Emu oil.
