Angry Dandruff problem

Ive had dandruff problems since middle school, since then Ive tried almost everything, I was using selson blue for ahwile and it worked pretty good until about the last 2 years, I then switched to T-gel witch was good until now again, instead of getting rid of the dandruff completely it just makes it smaller, and its still itchy. I keep going back and forth to those 2 shampoos but it does not completly go away like before. Can it be my diet or whats going on?
Still young at heart

Hey YoungLife!

My family has been known to get dandruff and here are some things that we have tried that work..

*Massage olive oil into your scalp and leave in for an hour or overnight. Wash out with regular shampoo and conditioner.

*Rinse hair with vinegar before taking a shower.

Or.. you can do both. If nothing you have tried has worked.. I would suggest going to your dermatologist.

You may have what is known as sebhorreic dermatitis and not dandruff. Since over the counter products don't work real well it is time to see the doc and get this taken care. Call the doc and they will probably prescribe some prescription shampoo after they check your scalp.
