I don't know why you two are living so far apart and am not going to press for details. I guess the best thing you can do is voice your feelings to your Mom and tell her how much the distance is affecting you. Also, let yourself feel for that is so important; don't denay yourself your feelings, but handle them in healthy ways. If the distance can't be helped than find ways to keep in touch with your Mom. Set aside a time for weekly phone calls. Send e-mail to one another(most libary's now have computers were you can go online so this shouldn't be a problem for either of you). Send snail mail for it's more personal as well. Take care of yourself hon.
