im a 19 year old male, ive been smoking for roughly a year now but not very heavily. for the past 5 days ive had the feeling that something is stuck in my throat like a piece of popcorn.but ive been poking at it and coughing and gargling with mouthwash an so on but nothing seems to be able to budge it. it does however move from the back of my throat to the left side. i've heard this canbe a symptom of throat cancer but other than this annoyance i feel totally fine,no cough,a minor sore throat due to a cold but its gone now. does anyone think i should see a doctor about this? or should i just let my throat deal with it? i might sound worried but plz mssg me back cuz im quite a worrier thanks for your time.
I would go to the doctor. To investigate whether it is something serious, or something that needs some antibiotic treatment(infection). If it would happen to be something more serious, the quicker you get it diagnosed, the better, much better, outcome will be. No question I'd go! see ya, buck.
hi opaque,
could be you have a swollen gland from your cold-but you best go to the doctor anyway and he might put you on an antibiotic.
best of luck

DEFINATELY go see a doctor and get your mind put at rest. It could be something very minor but its best to get it checked out. Maybe this is a sign too that you shouldn't be smoking.....
