I have been having left rib pain for about 2 months and it seems to be getting worse latley Ive been having chest pain and that comes and goes but these pains happen everyday..any suggestions as what it may be ..

Have you considered, Costochronditis, immflamation of the chest wall? sounds a lot like what I have, usually you can tell if this is what it is by pressing on the breastbone and it will be tender.

If it's pain under the left ribs, check into making sure your spleen isn't enlarged. It often causes no symtpoms, but sometimes manifests itself as pain under the left ribs, just under where the diaphram is. Some other symptoms are back pain and abdominal fullness.

I have costochronditis and am considering getting a steriod injection. How do you treat it.
