This is a quote from a site about genital warts.
"Infants born to women with genital warts develop warts in their throats (laryngeal papillomatosis). Although uncommon, it is a potentially life-threatening condition for the child, requiring frequent laser surgery to prevent obstruction of the breathing passages. Research on the use of interferon therapy in combination with laser surgery indicates that this drug may show promise in slowing the course of the disease."
That is a big risk to take when considering having a child. You should be under an OBGYN's care prior to getting pregnant.
Also, another quote....
"Genital warts are very contagious and are spread during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner. About two-thirds of people who have sexual contact with a partner with genital warts will develop warts, usually within three months of contact."
So whether you wait or not you may give it to your partner, anyway. You are contagious forever....The lack of presence of the warts does not mean you are 100% SAFE! Sometimes the warts are just "invisible" or inside of you & you can't see them. This is a virus & it is transmitted like AIDS.
I am sorry you have this. When you find the right person I am sure that he will be loving and supportive to your condition. {{{HUGS}}}
