This is my problem-of-the-moment:
Sometime ago, I had ulcers on my tongue, sideways & on the surface (where food passes thorough). Both types healed BUT now ... on the tongue's surface, there is this "split", about 1-cm long.
During the ucler period, I used Bonjela & Kenalog in OraBase.
I worry about getting bad breath because of the "tongue split". Then, I learnt somewhere that to "test" if one has BB, one gives the back of one's palm a lick with one's tongue. I did just that.
Ought I go to see a doctor now or is there a home-cure that I can use to get rid of the "tongue split"? Of all places, the split is right in the middle; every time I open my mouth, it is there for all & sundry to see.
Also, is this common or am I crazy to do what I did? If I could, I wish not to go to a doctor. What if the doctor thinks I'm nuts?
