Bump On Middle Back Of Tongue...help! - Open to All Other Health Topics Message Board

today i noticed that i have this raised bump on the middle back of my tongue, it is just before where the tongue hits the uvula. what can i do to get rid of it? what is it? it is uncomfortable, not painful. can it be popped? it looks a little bit like a pimple...anyone familiar with this?

I had a bump on the side of my tongue and it kept getting bigger, Wasn't painful but it worried me. Went to ear, nose and throat surgeon and had it removed. I would get it looked at if it stays around. Better safe than sorry.
My doc said needed to come off to be sure and he also had it biopsied. Turned out o.k.
