Does the tremor ever occur as you are in the process of, let's say, lifting a cup of coffee to your lips?

Hi thanks for your replies,
a) i havent been taking medications per-se as much as ive been taking herbs for some time. Daily i take the lowest dose of gingko biloba and st. johns wort (as well as a coupe vitamin suppliments > but ive been taking those for years without previous problems)
b) ive been consuming approximately 2 medium sized cups of coffee per day for many many months now with no previous problems
c) I really do not notice a tremor when i pick-up the book, only when it is in position; nor do i notice a tremor when im using my hands at all.
- Other than tha, ive noticed that the tremor is indeed in both legs as well as my head (i was at the eye dr. the other day and had to keep my chin on that pad while he looked in my eyes and noticed a significant tremor in my head while trying to keep still).
Also i've noticed that recently ive had hard palpatations in that i can feel my heart beat when I stay still in almost any part of my body (espically my palms) but the beat itself is not irregular or fast.
Now that I think about it, could these be symptoms of hyperthyrodism?
