What's wrong with my throat??? - Open to All Other Health Topics Message Board

I was'nt sure where to put this one because I suffer from so many different things and I'm not exactly sure which one of them (if any) is causing it. I suffer from Panic Attacks, GAD (General Anxiety Disorder), GERD (Acid Reflux Disease), IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), many allergies and I have a metallic taste in my mouth all the time where I have a bad molar.

Anyway, my throat has felt very restricted for about 3-5 days now and I am swallowing a lot. It feels very tight/full and like there's a popping sound/feeling in there whenever I swallow. It also feels kind of sore (but not like a sore throat but more like I have something in there that makes swallowing uncomfortable). Sometimes I don't notice it that much and other times it makes me scared.

Any suggestions?. Anyone else get this?. Yes, I know I could just march down to the doctor's office (and I probably will very soon) but I was just wondering if anyone can relate to these symptoms.

i have had that popping sound/feeling when i swallow too, but it has gotten better with time. so far ive not consulted a doctor about it coz it is not causing any other problems as yet. i do not have swallowing problems or soreness. but i do have a thyroid problem - i am hypothyroid. does yours look swollen by any chance? i am sorry i am of no help but i wrote coz i could relate.
