If your goal is to score higher on an IQ test, practice makes perfect. Use a practice test of the exact same format and use the exact same time limit as the real test. Then practice, practice, practice. Your "IQ" in this case is not fixed, it's just a matter of getting use to performing nearly meaningless functions.
If your goal is to function better, to be sharper in everyday life, first make sure you are in good health. Studies show healthy people have better blood flow to the brain. So exercise and eat right. Now the real key is to find the state of consciousness in which you function best, what Czenchmikaly calls "the flow". Experiment with meditation and focused consciousness. No body has the answers for this, you truly have to find on your own the state of consciousness in which you function best in certain situations and learn to control your focus.
