Sweating too much...

Hey all.

I have a sweating problem. Even just sitting there, not doing much, I'll feel drops of sweat collecting underneath my arms and on my back.

My clothes are literally soaked when I come home. It's really embarrassing but more than that, it's just annoying and feels nasty.

I've tried this deodorant called Maxim (similar to Drysol I think) and it helps but not much at all.

Do you guys have any advice? I'm a little overweight and I'm about start losing it so I'm sure that'll help. Any other advice? Foods not to eat? Anything? I appreciate it.

Re: Sweating too much...

I have a problem with excessive sweating too. I'm female, 5'4, 115 pounds (if that says anything). If I am perfectly still doing nothing I sweat like crazy. It won't even be hot outside. I've tried everything, nothing works. Should I go to the doctors?

Re: Sweating too much...

Heavy sweating is a sign of heart related problems, it would never hurt to get an exam. I would sweat so bad for years, never realised until my heart attack. I was thin as well. Getting an exam cant hurt. Lupines

Re: Sweating too much...

I sweat excessively but i dont let it bother me cause i have this awesome deoderant anti-persperant call high endurance aqua sport or something and also you should not eat garlic or cabbage or anything that will make you smell worse.

Re: Sweating too much...

hi guys

I have been sweating excessively primarily under my arms for a number of years now. I know how embarassing it is, and i have investigated a number of products and solutions. Strong night time underarm deodorants are effective but may irritate your skin, but sometimes i feel that it is worth it! i do think that it is somewhat in your mind also. Try to forget about it and i bet it wont be as bad.

I am currently using ODABAN which is a night deodorant spray and that really helps. Going to more extreme measures, BOTOX will help also now but may be quite expensive, and again is only temporary!

Question Re: Sweating too much...

Help!!!!! I "head-sweat" something awful. I can be sitting at my desk minding my own business and start with the sweating. If I have to do anything physical my hair will be soaked in about 5 minutes. I always have my hair cut really short during the summer because of this. Wish they made an anti-perspirant shampoo!! Any suggestions?
