Question Nose Bleeds

My boyfriend has been waking up every morning for the past week, and always gets nose bleed while he is getting ready. It is getting to the point where he goes to work feeling weak. I myself have never had a nose bleed in my life, so I feel helpless. This happens quite often where he will be waking up with them. He also gets them quite often during the day, night whenever. He doesn't do drugs so I know that isn't it. Can anyone help me, or him might I say, figure out what is going on, and what we could do? Thank you in advance!

Re: Nose Bleeds

Sinus Infection and/or extremely dry air are common problems that can cause nosebleeds. One more thing(and this is a big stab in the dark)...check out HHT (Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia).

Sorry I couldn't help more.

Re: Nose Bleeds

If your boyfriend also has low iron levels, I would go see a medical expert and ask about HHT.

Re: Nose Bleeds

If you live in a dry, hot, climate, that could be a reason he's having these frequently. I live in a desert climate, and the air dries out my nose. I'll get random nosebleeds even in my sleep.

Breathing through my nose while in the shower helps moisten it up a little. I'm pretty sure they also have nose sprays, to moisten the nostrils. That might help as well.
