Question Sex after Surgery
Hi...sort of an embarassing question, but I really want to be sure. I had a discectomy, laminectomy, and decompression 2 weeks ago....I was wondering how long you stayed away from sexual intercourse or how long you're supposed to? My doctor didn't mention anything about it...and I've heard that you can whenever you feel comfortable...but I really wouldn't want to do any more damage. Thanks for any info.

My doctor had told me 2 weeks. Unless you are doing acrobatics, you should be ok.

one of my friends says that their doctor said to try and masturbate... if you could orgasim without pain then do what you were comfortable with...
