| Hand Laceration
Yesterday I was washing a thin drinking glass which broke and gave me a pretty deep laceration. I went to the local emergency room to get stiches. Before the D.O. started to stich it up he told me it needed washed and took me up to the sink and washed it out with tap water. Does that sound normal for a deep wound cut or should it had been cleaned with sterile water? The laseration was on my right index finger's upper knuckle now I am having pain in my bone that runs down to my wrist and I am wondering if it cut a nerve or the pain is just from swelling. I also recieved a Td shot in my upper arm. Any info would be appreciated.
