Vocal Chord Paralysis

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if I have come to the right place but I am looking for information on vocal chord paralysis. My left vocal chord is paralysed and my voice is but a whisper. I have trouble swallowing and drinking and have spent 4 days in hospital getting tests.

My Drs cannot tell me how long I will be like this or what has caused it, recovery could be one week or never.

Any information or shared experience welcome. I am desperate.
