Red face Belly Button problem

I just wanted to know if anyone knew if there was a safe med I could use for a very smelly belly button. I tried q-tips and perioxide. I also tried a med for rash that did nothing. I. unfortunately, got one part of the soft q-tip stuck in my belly button and can't get it out. I wet it and now am waiting for it to dry to try again. This is my second concern. Anyways, my belly button is a bit deep and it really does smell bad (like feces). Can anyone give some info.

Re: Belly Button problem

Try using tweezers to pull the Q-Tip cotton back out. Keeping belly button wet is not a good idea. Yeast loves warm moist areas.

Using an antibiotic cream plus cream for yeast should control the problem.

Try drying belly button with hair dryer after showers/bath. Keeping the area dry is very important.
