Over the past 2 or 3 weeks, I have had a pain, well, not intense, in my lower right abdominal quad. It started out as more of a feeling of pressure then anything. Last week, I saw my Dr. to get an asnwer. He sent me right to the ER for a possible apendisitis. <sp?> Anyways, spent 8 hours there. They did bloodwork, and took a abdominal CT scan. Nothing abnormal.
I am supopsed to see my regular Dr this week. What questions should I be asking? Cancer? Tumor? IBS? Crohns? Old Age? I'm a little concerned about cancer, but who isnt.
No, not yet. Still waiting to se my primary Dr. The possible causes are as numourous as they are a bit frightening. No cancer in the family, and no real past history of illness. The ER Dr. said that there was nothing abnormal on the Abdominal CT scan, and nothing showed up in the bloodwork or urinalisis.
she said possible IBS, but from what I have read, nothing has ever indicated a localized tender spot. (just above the beltline, at the hipjoint.
So until I can get into the DR, and see if believes there is a cause for further concern, It's a guessing game. Which by the way, I dont like to play.
