see beating in Stomach - Open to All Other Health Topics Message Board

Hi, all.
Great forums you have here by the way.

Anyway , recently i have noticed that there is beating coming from my stomach, if i lye down i can actually see it moving, the thing is however it is much more stronger than my heart beat, sometimes it matches to the timing but sometimes is doesnt..
I have however been thinking i was pregnant for a while back , could it be something to do with that, you know with the baby heart beat, cause i do hear it is a lot stronger, or could it be some other kind of illness??

I have heard people having this, but i can never find out what is wrong with them..

If anyone can help it woldbe areally appreiated/

If you are a very thin person, what you are feeling is your aorta, which leads from the heart all the way through the belly.
It's a very strong pulse and can be easily felt especially if you are lying flat on your back.

i hate to break it to you...but thats normal

it is 100% normal to feel what u are feeling and where u are feeling it. i get it too and its just another spot on ur body thats showing ur pulse, even if the timing doesnt seem right! but maybe if u think ur pregnant u should get a test done for that!! good luck.
