tonsil problems - Open to All Other Health Topics Message Board

Hi i'm a 35 year old female who always has very large tonsils and was always getting tonsilitis i don't get it as much now but i have noticed that my right tonsil has deflated and almost disappeared is it possible i could have swallowed it. I only noticed because my throuat is sore on the right hand side and thought i would have a look any info or advice would be most appreciated.

I would think not because the tonsils are held on by tissue but I am not sure. I would ask my primary care giver or ask ENT because they would really be the only ones who can answer that question. I am guessing that something isn't right so I would make a appointment with an ENT and have them check that out!
