hi i am 48 this year and have been experiencing health problems the last few months. i have a leg and back problem and am waiting for mri scan. i have been having sleep problems and feeling very hot especially when trying to sleep - aching legs as well. my doctor has done a fsh test which is 32 and says i am probably menopausal but my periods have not stop. i have a womb full of little fibroids as well. when the doctor did my blood tests she did a glucose one as well which has come back with a reading of 6.5 and now wants a fasting test. - this is unusual for me because i suffer with reactive hypoclcymia and sometime my sugars are as low as 2.2 - when i test my sugar on my meter the readings are 5.9 6.0 which is quite high for me but i thought they were normal. and why is the blood from my vein going to be any different from my finger (5.9 this morning before fasting test at doctors) now i have to wait 6 days for result. please help - sue
