| Implications of weak gag reflex
I have:
Brachial plexus neuopathy
Fibromyalgia (FM)
Swallowing difficulty
IBS with only constipation
Slow response duodenal flexure
Weak gag reflex (hardly any)
Chronic cough with mucus
Voice deepening/weakness
Positive ANA (off and on)
Clinical Depression
GAD
Does this sound like any nerve or other disease anyone has ever heard about? I am wondering because I have blamed everything on the Fibromyalgia for years and I am wondering if maybe something else could be to blame. My sister who , she thought, had FM for many years was rediagnoised with RA and Thyroiditis. I test ok for all thyroid tests except for the antibodies against the thyroid which I have not had.
I would like to hear others thoughts on this, so have at it. Any ideas will be appreciated.
