My name is Jason, I am 24. I will start by saying what is wrong. In Febuary of 2004 I was at work and my entire left side went numb. I proceeded to the hospital and nothing was found. Shortly after my left arm started turning a blueish red color and pain started shooting from my left shoulder up the left side of my neck and down the left arm into the hands; numbness and tingling followed. I have seen ever specialist in the merch health systems, I have had MRI's of my brain and entire spinal colom and the brachial plexus; an angiogram, and venogram of the left arm, as well as a CT scan of my head. I have been tested for thorasic outlook sysndrome and all tests have come back normal. The doctors have done ever test they can think of and have not found anything wrong. I am in contant pain. My left arm turns a blueish red color and swells when at my side or in a lowered position, if I lift my arm above my head the color comes back immediatly, but the pain stays. I have lost strength in my left arm and hand and now have a constant tingling feeling in my left hand. Any pressure on my left shoulder blade causes more pain and any kind of lifting with the left arm no matter what the weight causes more pain. I have trouble holding onto objects in the left hand. All of the doctors are lost, they say they do not know where to go next. They say they can see something is wrong but have no idea what it is. I was in good condition before this all started almost 1 1/2 years ago. I am writing in hopes that someone may have some ideas I can through at the doctors or that my have had a similar experience and might know what is happening. Please help me if you can, I am running out of options and my 5 year old child needs her dad to go back to work to support her.
