Barbars bending ears ... - Open to All Other Health Topics Message Board

Just curious, can barbars ( hair dressers ) bending top of ears right over when cutting hair be of any long term, or even short term harm for that matter?

If that were true then every kid who bent their ears or stretched their ears would have funny looking ears. Remember you mother saying, "If you made that face it would stay that way." Well, it didn't....

No lasting effects....not even short effects, the ears pop back to normal.

My ears protrude and my mother always said it was due to wearing hats during the summer that came too low and pushed ears forward. Well, in these later years my mother wore her hair real short and low and behold she had the same ears as I did. So, it is hereditary and not the hats I wore.

I thought as much, I just really dislike how they don't seem to care when it comes to trimming behind the ears and would fold the ear into a little ball and pop it in the ear whole if it had been possible.
