undefined hello i am wondering why my period started on may5th 2005 and i am continuing bleeding and this is june2 2005...the first week i noticed brown dark spotting then black spotting the size of a nickel...then i stopped a day then started again this with weird looking mucas bloodiness...then i started bleeding heavy for two weeks waking up in the nighttime with spirts of clots the size of golf balls and now the clotting looks like tennis balls ewwwhhhh... i feel no pain ...only headachy last week....can somebody tell me what to do i used three bags of sanitary napkins and tampons when will this end??? or do i have to go to the doctor or hospital is this normal or could i be hemoraging????
I have always had irregular periods either its two days long or 10 days but I couldn't say I have ever expreinced one that long nor any of my girlfriends. I doesn't sound normal so deffinitly see a doctor. I had to go for my irregular. Make sure to write down all your questions for the doctor and take with you. Otherwise you will forget when you get in there you get distracted and feel uncofortable as it is. You might also want a second opioin.
Jbbl gave you good advice. Get yourself to a doctor ASAP because at the very least, you will end up anemic from the loss of blood. Once your doctor examines you and provides some details, then you can begin researching some options. But the doctor will be your first line of information.
My sister just had a D&C, she was diagnosed as critically anemic, she has has that bleeding problem, call you OB/GYN, they can do ultra sounds and blood work, she is doing great now.
