in 1989 i was in a motorcycle accident, shattered my left knee pretty badly.
i had zero pain throughout the whole thing , i woke up at seen and they said i had to got to hospital "i didn't want to" but of course i was made to .
They put my knee back together and i was bacup and waking with some pain
but up, the doctor explained a new false knee the had but i was young so hold out as long as i could before i decided to go for it's about a year later
it was pain full but working , there's a line here and i crossed and volentered to have the fake knee. so the operation was done and i was doing so well, I had to work very hard but i wade it to where i could ride a bike again
and from there i had high hopes, the very night i came home form my first long ride down the best bike trail in town , a drainage hole developed on the top of the knee (one year near the day from the operation) well they removed the fake knee and fuzzed my leg straight ,(now at this point everyone is saying ohhh sue the hell out of them but my doctor didn't do this on purpose he was crying when he told me what was going to happen ?
now really i learned years later the hospital had the real problem at that time.) but too late now k sara sara, the infection never healed i had a stiff leg we operated on 12 times trying different things ,from open packing, scarping bone, muscle flap was last chance, and it turned to this resistant bug that was on the bone , any want 13 years i walk around with a stiff leg oozing puss and finally on 1/24/05 we amputated above the knee the damn thing what a change in life,im very tough and ill make it but man , to day in the parking lot of food chain store my leg wasn't in locked position and i fell, the fall i was able to laugh at the leg is like wearing football armor, but the people around you make you feel like , well poor you i know they mean well but if they could laugh with me , not even sure if this is place to tell a story but i just felt like typing it so i did. it takes a long time to learn how to use the prosthetic legs .but there are a list of good things . as well as a list of bad things .
