My brother had Wegener's Granulomatosis, among many other autoimmune diseases. WG is an autoimmune disease. My brother developed Pulmonary Fibrosis, and that was the cause of his passing at 46.

Try the Immune Disorders board. It supports people with AI diseases. If she has any lung problems as a result of it, try the Lung Disorders board. I know it can also cause kidney problems too, although my brother didn't get that, as he had what was called "Limited Wegener's", which doesn't effect the kidneys.
