Question Bowel Movements While Sleeping?

Greetings Friends;

I am wondering if any of you folks have experienced what i have? 3 Times in the last Year - i have awakened to find myself having a LOOSE bowel Movement. I am 48 Years Of Age, Diabetic, on Meds - And am a Chronic Alcoholic.

I have NOT been tested as i do not like Doctors - nothing personal - just what they might tell me. Now on ( I Think all 3 Occasions ) I was drinking Rather heavely "Bienge" Drinking - Like 60 Beers in 3 days..!

My Symptoms are - Nothing really either then MUCUS in the stool, and of course what i have mentioned above.

Medications i am on:

Metformine -500mg (4 Daily) for Diabeties
Glyburide 5mg ( 2 Times Daily ) Diabities
Ranidine - 150mg (Only when needed)
Lipitor - 10mg Cholesterol ( Daily )
Altace - 10mg ( High Blood Pressure ) - (Daily)
Hydrazide 25 - (Water Pill ) Daily
Lorazepam 2mg ( 3 Daily ) Stress
Nitrazadon 10mg (4-5 Daily For Sleep )
Gravol 50mg Daily ( Helps in stess )

Like i mentioned I also Drink a average of 24 beers a day when i drink. But most importantly, if anyone has had these symptoms PLEASE reply to me.

Thanks Kindly ( Bear ) -- AKA Rick

Re: Bowel Movements While Sleeping?

I think in your post you've already answered your own questions.

24 beers a day can have grave consequences as I'm sure you already know, and losing control of your bowels while asleep is very likely one of them. And I bet a Dr. would tell you the same thing. Being a diabetic and drinking that much is a recipe for disaster and probably will be deadly for you!

All the meds you take for all your medical problems play a part probably, especially when you consider the REASONS you take them probably a side effect of the alcohol.

It's not going to do any good to see a Dr. though, unless you are ready to listen to their advice.

Sorry to be so truthful, but unless you listen to some good advice, you won't be around long enough to worry about anything! But I think you already truthfully know that.
