Here is my situation:
I'm 25/female in generally good health (other than this problem)
I started having pain about 7 or 8 months ago that is intermittent and kind of sharp and burning in my chest/upper stomach/stretching around to my back and shoulder blades. They found gallstones and my gallbladder was removed last month. Ever since the surgery my symptoms have gotten more frequent and more painful. I have been to the emergancy room twice for these "attacks" of pain that can last anywhere from 10 minutes to my last one that lasted 6 and a half hours. I have bipolar disorder and take alot of meds the dr. at the ER seemed to think it was my meds but I have been on these meds for years and never had these problems and my psychiatrist cut them back some and no change.a I have had Liver Function Tests which came back normal, urynalisis, x-rays of my stomach, and Upper GI series, and a HIDA scan, they found nothing. I have had diarrhea for the last 4 days and have hardly been able to keep anything down. I am starting to feel weak and exhausted from dehydration. I know I am not imaginging this. Anyone have any suggestions?
