First off im a 22 year old male. im 6'0" 250 lbs. Im by no means obese but like most people i could stand to lose a couple pounds. Ive never had this happen before but im concerned that it did.
Last night laying in bed i was having trouble catching my breath. Not gasping for air but breathing heavier than usual. And i could not stop. When i rolled over onto my chest it made it even harder to breath. I got up and sat in my recliner for a while to calm myself It felt like someone was sitting on my chest but without the pain. I had no pain whatsoever. No cough. no wheezing. The only strange thing was a tingiling in my fingertips. Like they had fallen asleep. Ive never had any resperitory issues before. I do not have asthma. Im concerned that there is something major wrong and ignoring it is going to hurt me.
You might have pleurisy or any number of things. But the best advice to make an appointment tommorrow with your Doctor, this is something that shouldn't be ignored, especially if you change position and have more difficulty. Let us know what the doctor says. Take care of yourself.
