[FONT=Georgia]Hi, I am a newcomer here and would appreciate all the help on this subject that I can get. I have been taking Neurontin now for a year and it seems to help with my sleep and also with the pain, a *little*. I refused pain meds when the doctor prescribed this med. Reason being, I have friends and family that seems to think this is *all in my head* because I LOOK healthy and well and try sooo hard to act without pain. If I were to take pain meds, I would be concerned about the folks in my life thinking that -I don't need it! Guess *that* is where the guilt would come in!
I am in sooo much pain *most* of my life and would like to know if anyone here takes pain meds (for Fibro.) and what kind would help me and could take it for a length of time.
