Buying EMS or TENS over the counter

Hi!

I've been trying to find out where I could purchase an EMS or TENS unit over the counter. All I have been able to find is online shops which are based in strange parts of the world. I just cannot trust these online shops for a number of reasons. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could suggest a place or type of shop where I could buy an EMS or TENS unit over the counter.

I'm in Sydney, Australia, so an Australian store would be good. But for other countries I'm sure I'll be able to find a similar shop here too.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Buying EMS or TENS over the counter

I live in the USA but I just went to my doc who referred me to a physical therepy place that distributed my TENS to me.I am not sure just how much info I can give out here on the actual co,but it was from a co called Empi.It is based in the US.maybe if you googled TENS it may come up.I would think that just asking your doc for the number of a physical therepy place that he could give you that and you could actually call them and ask them just where they obtain the TENS units that they use on their patients.I would think that there would HAVE to be somewhere in Austrailia that actually manufactures these units.just what IS an EMS? I don't believe i have ever heard of that.FB
