Iron infusion venofer adverse reactions
has anyone had iron dextran or venofer given intravenously to treat anemia? did you have any allergic reactions or adverse reactions? I had both and have not been able to tolerate the dextran. I now have to be on huge doses of prednisone before i can receive further treatments . Has anyone out there gone through anything similar? i'm pretty much in the dumps-what is suppose to be a real simple issue-iron defiecency anemia has become such a colossal issue. any help would be appreciated-side effects of the prednisone etc. thank you
