Hi all. I am just wondering if anyone knows of anything that can help with plurisy? Every once in a while, I get these sharp pains around my lung (always on my left side), and if feels like my heart is going to explode. It's so painful that I can't breath in, so I just hold my breath or breath very shallow until it stops. I have had this since as long as I can remember. When I was younger/a kid, my doctor said it was probably just growing pains. I'm now 27 (as of yesterday
) and I'm still having these pains, so it's obviously not growing pains. Another doctor said it might be plurisy, but then she told me that there is nothing that I could do about it except use a hot pad or take some aspirin or something. The thing is, I can't predict when it will happen, and when it does, it usually doesn't last very long. It just hurts SO bad! Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, have you found anything that has helped? Thanks in advance!
