| Child -Swollen Lymph Nodes
My 6 year old has an occipital lymph node that is hard and very tender to touch. The pediatrician put her on antibiotics assuming it will go away. She thinks it is an infected node. No enlarged spleen, liver or enlarged nodes. Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts, or just needing second opinions! No other symptoms involved except one small red bump on her head in alignment with the node may be an ingrown hair. Any thoughts would be appreciated. We as mothers always think the worst!
