| Stomach issues
Hi guys, new guy in the forum here. Im a 24 year old male. I have a question for you.. to make a long story short, I have been having stomach issues for the past two years. The symptoms are general stomach ache, some nausea. NO weight loss or vomiting or anything diarrha every now and then. Seems like I get stomach viruses all the time. Now the stomach pain is not all the time, some days it will be bad, other days no pain. It is generally worse in the morning.
Now it all seemed to have started back after I drank some possibly bad water two years ago. I just finally went to the doctor the other day since it got real bad. I got a blood test for Helicobacter Pylori, came back negative. Took an Upper GI exam, everything looked fine. No severe reflux or a hernia or anything. The lady at the doctor to call back if I have problems over and over again, well I know I will keep having them.
So what's typically the next step if these tests are negative? Anyone else think it might be a parasite? I asked the doctor and he said probably not and to rule it out but I don't know. If it started after I drank some bad water, could it be? Just wondering what kind of things will happen next after these tests? Should I go see a specialist? Get a parasite exam? What does the Dr typically do next?
