Austastic

Hello everyone. I do a lot of tricking (flips and things) and I was trying out a new move onto a mat. Well it turns out the mat wasn't as dense as I believed it to be because on one of the flips I hit with my knee, and promptyly sunk down to the bottom of the mat and it hurt my knee. Not really bad, just hurt it. Immediatley after, and now a week later, I can no longer feel the skin where it hit. There was no swelling, bruising, or abrasions of any type. I simply am now unable to feel the skin there. There is also no aching of the area. Could I have destroyed the nerves in that part of my knee merely through a hard impact? I wasn't flipping from any great height, but the force of my rotation could have added significant impact force...advice? Help? The area I can no longer feel is about an inch and a half circle below the kneecap.
