My uncle (47), had once had cancer, which was removed. Within 60 days he was back to full strenght from 2 months of being down. He was feeling good and was running, and ran around a corner straight in to a rototiller where the handel pretty much stabbed him in gut. Which caused a Hernia, which was also fixed, but, while they were looking inside him for the Hernia they missed one that when he eats it bloats into other intestines rather than outward. This Hernia was seen once by a Radiologist, who at the time was having a fued (still possibly is) with my uncles Surgeon. So the Surgeon denied my uncle from getting another surgery to finally and hopfully finally fix his chronic pain of 4 years at the time. Since that one Surgeon denied my uncle, no other Surgeon will even give him a chance.... I just needed to get this out. It's eating away to see my once hard working, Running a farm and a 12 hr a day job at the same time, going to the lake, hell even walking.... be in pain for 6 years now....
sorry to hear about your uncles ongoing suffering.i am just wondering why no other surgeon will do the nesscessary surgery on your uncle?if it is actually needed, well then its needed.have you tried going out of your city or the surrounding area for a surgical consult?it sounds like he may be in the middle of that 'good ole boy" network where you live where one surgeon is just not willing to 'offend" any others, you know what i mean?your uncle shouldn't have to be suffering with this when a surgery can take away at least some of the problem.
i agree with the other poster, get a lawyer.most will do actual consults for free.you definitely need some "back up',and a lawyer can help push things thru for him.i do hope some caring surgeon will eventually take care of your uncle in the appropriate way.please keep us posted on what happens,K?hang in there soysen,FB
