The USRDA doesn't recommend anything over 50mg a day. The body tolerates 30mgs a day and pregnant women shouldn't have over 15mgs a day. Zinc in foods can't harm you but zinc in supplements can interfere with the bodys metabolism of copper and other minerals. Some sites suggest it can cause abdominal problems as well. My question would be why do you feel you need that much zinc?
