HI, i was hving chest pains a couple of weeks ago so I went to the ER to be checked. They did the EKG, urine test, colest. test etc. Everything seemed to come out fine. Well I know I have been anxious and have had several panic attacks in the past and i have a very stressful job and lifestyle, so they gave me a presciption of Pills for my nerves and told me to come back in the morning for a chest exray, to rule out any other problems. I went back for the xray and they called me and told me that my xray was great, that everything was normal. I had to go back to the Dr. today for something and before I left the Dr. told me that there was a very small spot on my lung, but it was nothing. He said the test was 99% normal and that it was probably just a little calcium deposit on my lung. The spot is about 1 centi. The only thing that scares me is that I DO smoke and have smoked for like 18 years. He knows I smoke but said not to worry that we would do another xray in a year. Should I worry? Thanks.
