| Re: Doctor gave me expired drugs!!
If you really think so little of him as a doctor would it not be possible (and wise) to change to someone else? And, BTW, I wouldn't recommend my doctor to treat a dog but that's not because he isn't a good doctor (he is) but because most doctors haven't enough knowledge to treat animals.
Anyway, back to your original question about expired drugs. I think you should check with your pharmacist to see if it's ok to take them, but most likely the answer will be No. Not because they're dangerous or anything, just because in this day and age of litigation it would be unwise to advise anyone to take something that's out of date. Oddly enough, I was reading about these expiry dates on medications just last week and came upon a site where doctors and pharmacists were discussing it. The consensus seemed to be that lots of drugs were perfectly safe to take well beyond their expiry date, in some cases years beyond it, but again they wouldn't advise anyone to do so. Safety first and all that.
