feeling ill all the time, i need some advice...

hey,

Well i'm writtin this post about me, i don't really know how to start it off so bear with me. I'm 20 and from UK. I'm in good health. I haven't been feeling myself for a very long time. I have been in and out the doctors for months. They say nothing is wrong with me or relate it to stress (which i aint stressed!)

A few months ago i was told i had a chest infection so i was given some pills and thats all. A couple of weeks later it was ok. I have been having these coughs and colds on and off and all resulting in chest infection. I had a chest infection for about a month or so at one time and it wouldn't go.

Recently i was told i had another chest infection and tonsilitis. I was given pills again and was told to come back if i still feel ill. I did and tehy gave me some more pills and thats all. They just fob me off really.

A few nights ago i came down with a very bad headache. I took some pills and thought it would go off. I fell asleep and woke up again and it was worse, this time i was feeling very sick and very dizzy too. I got my mum and she gave me some more pills which were co-codamol and went back to sleep. But i couldn't sleep i was throwing up instead. I was sick about 3 times and was still very dizzy and pain everywhere. After i was sick my mum gave me a flannel to put onto my head and some more pills but nureofen, these worked. I called in sick and i slept the whole day. Didn't wake up till 6pm that day, i was very drained.

This has been going on for ages and all i seem to get from the doctors is ''your stressed out'' or ''have these pills''. Thier useless. I have been having a lot of headaches, very dizzy and fainting a lot, feeling and being sick, feeling drained all the time and feeling like i have no energy to do anything. I feel like this nearly everyday for last 3-4months. I have doctors on monday for blood tests, but i like its migrane and something going on but i don't know anymore, need help...

Can anyone suggest what it could be or give me some advice? It's useless going to my doctor like i explained.

I will appreiacate your replies, thanks xx

Re: feeling ill all the time, i need some advice...

My fiance had your sympotms for about 6 months. He swore he had the West Nile Virus but they told him it was borderline pneumonia. They kept giving him antibiotics and cough medicne but neither really helped. The only thing that did help was the last time he went they put him on Cipro for 14 days. He got much better but was still very sluggish. He said he felt like a jelly fish.
When he went back for his follow up after the 14 days of Cipro the dcotor put him on prescritpion vitamins. He was back to normal in a few days. He said the vitamins made him a bit ill to the tummy until he got use to them. He takes them at night after his last meal. He takes them at night so that no caffine or other things will wash them out of his body. Caffine can destroy some vitamins and since your body heals while you are sleeping he is getting more benefits taking them at night.

Hey.

Thanks for reply. My doctor won't give me anything except amoxacillin (sp?). Their useless. I do have a doctors app again on monday but doubt their do anything except my blood tests but this has been going on for a while now and i'm fed up with it. I have told my best mate about it but no1 else because my mum says their is nothing wrong with me.

Whats the vitamins he takes? i could try and get some. I'm starting to worry about all this now, i don't like being ill and annoying thing is not geting help.

Do they have UK health clinics in the UK? Not a doctors office but health clinics that are open to the public at a cheaper rate than regular at doctors offices? Maybe you can try onr of them.

The vitamins that the doctor gave him are called Glutofac ZX. he has insurance so they were I think only $10 or maybe $14. I forget which. TRey are in a prescription bottle of 30 and they doctor gave him 5 refills.

If they are doing blood a test ask them for a CBC and a complete thryoid test as well. There are a few kinds of blood tests for the thryoid so tell them you want a complete one.

My fiance has insurance but the doctors never did a blood test on ohim they just telling him he had borderline pneumonia. After he took the vitamins he went to a lab that is run privately that I go to, since I don't have any isurance, to get his blood done. His insurance did not cover it but for a complete CBC, EKG, hearing, eyes test it was ony $120. He is good as new now but for a while there it was touch and go. One night he actually went to the ER cause he was feeling so bad but there were so many people in the waiting room that he gave up and went home.
Maybe they have a lab or something like that in the UK?

Companies here send their employees to the lab if they suspect they are doing drugs but it's open to the public as well. You get your result back the next day.

The doctor gave him those vitamins cause it's the same ones that the doctor takes. The doctot said that he has never been sick a day in his life and he is like if I had to guess around the age of 70.

Try taking probiotics. They should get rid of the negative side effects of antibiotics. I'm not sure what brands they have in the UK. They should have Garden of life primal defense HSO probiotics.
