I was laying on the floor of my bathroom at my work earlier today and I was wondering if i could get any diseases from this? I know public bathroom floors are not exactly the cleanest places to lie down. When I got home I showered extra extra good... What do you guys think?
Were you tired? You should be OK, germs need to get into our bodies through mouths, noses, skin breaks, etc. If you didn't give the floor a healthy licking while you were down there, you shouldn't have picked anything up.
No, there definitely wasn't any licking going on... lol... I was moving my mouth a little I think, saying words, but I wasn't licking. There's no chance of me inhaling germs is there? I was lying face downward but my face wasn't lying on the ground... I don't think- I can't remember it like that... I think i was resting my head on my arm... My hair might have touched the floor though.
oh... and I DO have a few cutlike abrasions on my arms and legs from just running around and stuff... I don't know if these made contact with the ground- I wasn't bleeding from them though. Hope I didn't get infected. I just showered again.
I think you'll be all right. Assuming your work place has janitors, they're supposed to clean the bathrooms every night aren't they? Sure, it's still not that clean, but it's still something. Heck, I'd honestly think your hands might be as dirty as that bathroom floor. I'm also assuming that your cuts had already scabbed up, so there shouldn't have been a big chance of infection from that either even if they touched the floor.
The bathrooms do get cleaned... I know since I clean em... Mopped with really filthy water- pretty gross... The cuts weren't bleeding. I think most of em were scabbed over, but not all of em, but they weren't bleeding any of em, and i'm not sure how much contact w/ the floor they even had.

Were you under the influence while mopping the bathroom floor with "really filthy water"? Were you under the influence while laying on a bathroom floor that you had mopped with "really filthy water"? Were you under the influence while you wrote the above? You need to schedule an appointment with a psychologist.
