Re: Why do I feel hungry after eating an apple?
Have you ever brought this up with your doctor? I think it might have something to do with your glucose level. There are certain foods that mess with my glucose levels and can give me a hypoglycemic attack. While I can't point to apples as one of those foods for me as I don't eat a lot of fruit to begin with, I can say that a sign that I am wandering into another hypoglycemic attack is this deep down starvation in the pit of my stomach. I suddenly go weak, I feel like I haven't eaten in days and I get a bit of a cold sweat thing going on. Then, when I eat what I am craving...sugar or chocolate...I tend to get nauseous right after.
Perhaps, see your doctor and see if he or she has any insight as to why you feel that way after eating apples. Perhaps it is just your bodies way of telling you that you need to eat more. I don't find apples particularly filling myself. They are merely a snack.
